The Prophet said of his Night Journey, "I was raised to the Lote Tree and saw four rivers, two flowing outward and two flowing inward. Those which flowed outward were the Nile and the Euphrates; those which flowed inward were two rivers of Paradise. I was then offered three bowls, one full of milk, another of honey, and a third of wine. I took the bowl of milk and drank it. Then it was said to me, 'You and your followers will be on the right path.'"
